About the Author and Source Bibliography
I hope you found my Web pages useful. I have been writing computer programs in Basic and Visual Basic for about 3 years more recently moving to HTML and Boreland C++. I hope to become either a civil or military aircraft pilot when I finish studying.

Here I am with my instructor on my 13th Birthday (3rd April 1997) receiving my first flying lesson, a present from my Dad. The photograph shows me at the controls of a Piper PA-28 (G-BRME) flying at 2400 feet making a slight right turn while climbing at 5 feet per minute. Take off was from Belfast International Airport at 11:10 GMT.

To those who have sent me data, corrections and further information for my Airline Disasters site, I say a big thank you, feedback like this from other enthusiastic users makes the web what it should be.
