Great Aircraft

These are images of planes and helicopters. They were taken at Newtownards Airshows, County Down, Northern Ireland on various occasions. When scaned at 300dpi, the pictures were too large(over 1MB) and would take too long to download, so I resized them to half the size. These are thumbnails of the images. The thumbnails are at about 1/8 the size of the actual image and they are also only 16 colours(again to decrease loading time) which makes the thumbnails look quite dull. Don't worry, the actual images are the normal 256 colours. Click on the thumbnails to download the actual image. If you wish to use any of these images on your own website, please provide a link to my page.

The Pitts Special was designed by Curtiss Pitts in the 1940's. It is still the most well-known American aerobatics aircraft. The S-2B is a two seater version of the origional. It is still high-powered and handles exactly the same as the origional. It is still used as a trainer for advanced aerobatics manoeuvres.
