education and in most families one of the children will also be
attending the school. A meeting is organised for host families,
before the course, where they are advised on ways of helping
the students take full advantage of their stay. The organiser will
be in daily contact with the students during the school and an
emergency phone number will be given to them. Students will
be asked to fill in a weekly report of the situation in the family.

Leisure activities
All leisure activities are shared with the Irish students who take
part in the school. They consist of: two day-trips and afternoon
activities; sports (water sports, football, basketball, squash) or
cultural workshops (dancing, drama, journalism, photography,
music). The end-of-course concert presents the work of these
workshops to Irish parents and friends. Student interaction is
encouraged during these workshops.
